The internet is a fun place to learn, play games and talk to friends but it's super important to be smart and safe whilst you're online! Recently, we've had an increasing number of reports regarding issues arising from children using Snapchat. Here's some quick tips to help keep your children safe whist using this app -
🔒 Set your account to private - Only friends you add should be able to contact you or see your stories. 🙅♀️ Don't accept random friend requests - Just because someone adds you, doesn't mean you have to accept 📍 Turn off Snap Map (Ghost Mode) - if you wouldn't tell someone where you are at all times or want them knowing where you live or go to school then do you need this on? 🚫 Be careful what you share - Snaps can be screenshotted or recorded. Once it's out there, you can't always get it back. 🗣️ Report and block anyone who's being inappropriate or making you uncomfortable.
